Used for the purpose of evaluating the arterial blood flow to the upper extremities (arms) and lower extremities (legs). This study will identify blocked or reduced blood flow within the major arteries of the arms and legs.
Condition diagnosis:
Blood clots, Venous Insufficiency, Deep Vein Thrombosis, Arterial Occlusions, Artery Stenosis, Tumors with Vascular Involvement, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms, Heart Valve Defects, and Congenital Heart Disease
This test may also be used as an alternative to the higher risk invasive procedures of Arteriography and Venography.
